Photo Gallery: Restorations and Timeshares live at The Middle East in Cambridge

Knocking out a five-city tour around the Eastern seaboard near their hometown of Philadelphia, Restorations stopped by Cambridge's Middle East Upstairs last night (January 11) with one-time SideOneDummy label mates Timeshares. The shoegaze punk quintet are sharing new songs with intimate audiences as they gear up for their next LP, and with Jon Loudon's gritty storyteller voice, one wouldn't be far off from connecting them to Hot Water Music. Guitarist Dave Klyman's high-energy stage kicks and Rollins-stance echo their previous post-hardcore outfit Jena Berlin, but as the set unraveled last night, ethereal guitar notes warmed-up the small room. Check out my full gallery of both bands' performances below.
