Depending on how one prefers to spend his or her Saturday nights in January, last night provided two solid options for the modern pop fan: Head out into the cold for Lana Del Rey’s show at TD Garden, or stay in and watch Halsey on Saturday Night Live. Those who kept it locked to the couchfront were rewarded by the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom singer, who delivered two performances that got this new season of SNL off on the right heel. Sure, sure, everyone this morning is busy talking about host Sam Rockwell dropping an f-bomb during the show, but we’re here just trying to untangle Halsey’s “Him & I” duet with G-Eazy, which complemented a rousing performance of the Jersey native’s own hit “Bad At Love.” Revisit our review of Halsey’s headlining TD Garden show from October, as well as her appearance at Kiss 108’s Jingle Ball last month, and watch both of her SNL performances below.
