Those who grew up putting both Slayer’s “Raining Blood” and Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” on cassette mixtapes for crushes have finally gotten their summer music festival wish.
We just have to hop the Atlantic over to Iceland to indulge.
Reykjavik music festival Secret Solstice today (March 28) released its full 2018 lineup, and as you can imagine, it’s pure insanity. Joining Slayer and Tyler on the very eclectic bill are Gucci Mane, Stormzy (who’s also at Boston Calling this May), Clean Bandit, Skream, Steve Aoki, Death From Above, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, and dozens more.
Seriously, we had to make sure this wasn’t one of those fake festival posters everyone loves to whip up.
But we knew it was real when we saw Gus Gus listed at the bottom. Can’t have an Iceland fest without those dudes.
