Mint Field gaze forward slowly with video for ‘Cambios del Pasar’

A short while back Tijuana psych duo Mint Field caught our attention with “Quiero Otoño De Nuevo,” a loose bit of post-punk that suggested 21-year-olds Estrella Sanchez and Amor Amezcua were on some other shit entirely. Today the pair return with a stoner-gaze glider called “Cambios del Pasar,” another sampling off their recent debut LP Pasar De Las Luces. The “Cambios del Pasar” video was directed by Laura-Lynn Petrick, who says the clip “is meant to be a collection of moving paintings, exploring the notion of change and nature as its canvas. Estrella and Amor connect with their natural environment, at times with ease, at times chaotic. The video was shot in the state of Morelos, in Lagunas de Zempoala and near Cuernavaca, with Super 8 film, using only natural light.” Featured photo by María Fernanda Molins.
