HarpoonFest 2018 is one hell of a Boston music festival

s52Power.001

Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

We feel like we say this every year, but the musical lineup for this month’s HarpoonFest is pretty freakin’ stellar. The annual suds n’ buds bash at the Harpoon Brewery and Beer Hall’s far corner of the Seaport goes down May 18 and 19, and the Friday night / Saturday afternoon slate is packed with nearly 20 New England-based bands and artists that, when viewed all together, reads like one of the best local music festivals we’ll experience all year.

Not a bad complementary piece to all that Harpoon being passed around.

On tap (heh) for the Friday night stage are The Dirty Dottys, bloom., Ali McGuirk, Dan Blakeslee, STL GLD, and Lilith; while Saturday fills the day out nicely with an impressive lineup of The Rationales, Eavesdrop Trio, OldJack, Dan Masterson, Blue Ribbons, Oompa, Carissa Johnson & The Cure-Alls, Howl at the Moon, Pressing Strings, Latrell James, Julie Rhodes, and The Revelations.

Of course HarpoonFest also features food trucks, outdoor games, and tours of the brewery, but we’re here (and there) for the music. Get ticket and other info here, and scan through HarpoonFest 2018’s full lineup below, in both boring list form and colorful ’70s-flavored poster style. High marks to Daykamp Creative for the design on that one.
