Tenacious D announce first full-length tour in five years

Tenacious D, the popular comedy-metal duo featuring actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass, have announced an eight-date fall tour. The run includes a November 5 date at Boston’s House of Blues.

The tour announcement came via a short video posted to the band’s YouTube page, which also hints at them working on a new album to be released in 2018 “probably…”

The tour will be Tenacious D first full-length tour in five years, with their last Boston area appearance being at the May 2015 edition of Boston Calling. Tickets for the Boston date, and all other dates on the tour, go onsale this Friday (May 18) at 10 a.m. with pre-sales launching tomorrow (May 16). Tickets can be purchased via tenaciousd.com.
