Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

Mint Green are in full bloom this summer with the release of their new single “Holy,” the followup to their 2017 tune “Take Care” and 2016 EP Growth. True to Mint Green form, the track is lush with arrangements — but assuredly punk in sentiment. “I’ve been trying my hardest just to make you understand me/Instead of moving forward you just wallow in self pity” singer Ronnica bemoans, later following up with the ice-cold remark “Every second that I’m with you I feel more alone.” It’s the exact kind of chill we need to lean on as the thermometers spike this weekend. The group hits up the Lilypad with Fish House tonight (May 25) and Great Scott on June 8 with Elephants and Hexpert, so get acquainted with “Holy” beforehand below. Featured image via Facebook.
