Anonymity? JHart should be quick to ‘Put It To Bed’

You may not immediately recognize the name JHart, but you likely know his songwriting. Born James Abrahart, the talented Brit has written hits for Justin Bieber, Keith Urban, Rita Ora, Kevin Gates, Camila Cabello, and others, scoring a GRAMMY nomination and racking up more than eight million in sales. Now he’s putting his own name in lights, styling up our New Music Friday with alluring soul-pop track “Put It To Bed”. It’s a stirring and provocative debut for JHart, and sets the tone for his forthcoming project Vol 1 — Songs From Therapy. “When I started going to therapy, I noticed a change in my ability to be present creatively, so after a few months I pitched my therapist the idea of recording our sessions with the goal of writing my record and he agreed to it,” JHart. “Therapy also helped me get over a fear of performing that stopped me from pursuing an artist project for most of my adult life.” We’re glad he’s here.
