Los Angeles group Polyplastic have shared their new EP Not No, a fancy-ass way of saying “yesss” — which is, coincidentally, what this record has us squealing upon giving it a good listen. The work of post-punk duo Charlie Ellis and Emily Ibarra, the four-track effort descends into some icy darkwave that’s ready for a night out at Xmortis. Ironically, last track “Descension” is the most dance-y of the lot, but each new tune opens up a unique black hole to their throwback aesthetic. Drink in their dulcet depths of their new tunes below.
