We’ve quite enjoyed this new, prolific chapter in the ongoing story that is Adventure Set. The Boston-based synth-pop duo, whose roots trace back to the early ’80s, have been churning out meticulous electronic-pop on a very DIY level for the past few years, and since we last connected with Ken Scales and Mark Pothier (for last summer’s chilling “Ghost Seller”), the pair have been releasing a bounty of new tracks. This week, just in time for summer’s full stretch, they re-surface with “Lottery”, and upbeat rave number that has us feeling that moment when techno nights give way to morning. “Lottery” is for stream and/or download via the Adventure Set Bandcamp, embedded below, and inspired parties can bundle it up with an extra eight tracks for just a few bucks more.
